Report Places $93 Billion Value on Boreal Forest Great Holiday Gift Idea New! Boreal Songbird Initiative Screen saver

On November 25th, the Canadian Boreal Initiative released a report by the Pembina Institute putting a $93 billion dollar value on the natural systems in Canada's Boreal Forest.

One of the report's conclusions is that climate regulation and other ecosystem services provided by Canada's Boreal are more than 2.5 times as valuable as the net value of extraction activities in the region.
