My wife called mid-morning to say she was coming down to join us this afternoon and asked if there was anything we would like her to bring down. "Yes," I said, "more warblers."

We are continuing to struggle with a paucity of warblers and other migrants. A few minutes ago though we did interrupt munching thru a massive Ocean Point club sandwich provided by the East Boothbay General Store, to locate a Blackpoll Warbler. We have been watching an industrious Sharp-shinned Hawk snatch various birds and carry them back to it's nest. A Nashville Warbler, Black-throated Green Warblers, and Purple Finches continue to sing from across the pond as I write this.

By Noon we had identified 65 species but it's getting much harder.
